1. Why should I have Cosmetic treatments?
How you look has a dramatic effect on how you feel about yourself. Your self-esteem and confidence directly impacts your life both professionally and socially. Maintaining your looks as you age is a positive step toward being confident, happy and fulfilled with who you are as an individual.

2. What is the best age to undergo Cosmetic treatment?
Today more and more younger patients are seeking Cosmetic Medicine treatments as a preventive measure. Many of our clients see their treatments as a step toward increasing their self-confidence, rather than a 'restorative' treatment. When considering if cosmetic treatment is right for you it is important to ask yourself: 'Will I gain more confidence from this treatment and look as young as I feel?'

3. Will Cosmetic Medicine change my appearance?
Cosmetic medicine will enhance your individual beauty as opposed to changing your appearance. It will create subtle changes to the face and body to recreate harmony and restore your featuures. We carefully listen to each patient's desires and aspirations and work with them to enhance their appearance.

4. Will I need to prepare for treatment?
This will depend upon the treatment you are undergoing. Certain cosmetic medicine procedures require specific preparation and post treatment care. For example if you are undergoing IPL treatment it is imperative to stay out of the sun for some time both before and after your session. You will be provided with specific instructions before your appointment.

5. Is there much 'down time' after treatment? How long will recovery take?
Many Cosmetic Medicine procedures are now being labelled 'lunch time treatments' as it is possible to have a non-surgical procedure and still return to work as per usual. Treatments which require no 'down time' include; Anti-wrinkle treatment (Botulinum tox Cosmetic), Dermal Fillers, IPL sessions as well as many skin rejuvenation treatments.
