MORPHEUS8 for Acne and Scarring

Benefits
Most will derive long-term benefits. In some patients, benefits may be permanent. Ability to achieve significant results without harsh medications and peels.
Treatment guide
Before the Morpheus8 treatment, the skin is cleansed, you may apply a topical numbing cream to minimise discomfort during the procedure.
Morpheus8 microneedling is applied the tiny, fine needles create micro-injuries on the skin's surface. These controlled injuries stimulate the body's natural wound-healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production.
Simultaneously, the Morpheus8 device delivers Radiofrequency (RF) Energy to the deeper layers of the skin. This heat energy helps tighten and remodel the collagen, improving skin texture and reducing scarring.
The depth of microneedling and intensity of RF energy can be adjusted to suit the specific needs of the patient, targeting acne scars and active acne lesions.
Considerations
The treatment is very well tolerated. Generally, there is redness and possibly some puffiness of the skin that evening, reducing overnight to a mild redness which clears over the next two days. Many will time their treatment for a Friday enabling them to return to work looking fresh by Monday.
