Using both blue and red lights on the same day can be counterproductive. The red light, intended for healing, can negate the bacteria-killing effects of the blue light. Our treatment protocol ensures optimal results by separating the sessions.
Blue light 415nm (nanometer) wavelength has specific bactericidal (antibacterial) actions, perfect for clearing the infection by the acne bacteria.
Red light 830nm (nanometer) wavelength has exceptional wound healing and regeneration capabilities and improves the blood flow, resulting in better and faster healing of the acne, and reduction of scarring. It soothes the skin tissue and has a general regenerative action.
