Fibroblast Therapy - Plasma Pen
Plasma Pen Fibroblasting for wrinkles, sagging, and scars.
The Plasma Pen is the next-generation treatment able to treat practically any area of the skin with precision. It performs ‘fibroblast therapy’, which is a technique used to stimulate the production of collagen in the skin. Also known as ‘soft surgery’, the small electrical arc (plasma energy) causes tissues to instantly retract and tighten reducing sagging, wrinkled and other excessive skin irregularities.
Benefits
What are the benefits of this treatment?
Our clients have seen success with reducing sagging upper and lower eyelids (like a non-surgical blepharoplasty), reducing and removal of wrinkles on the face such as crows feet, frown lines, necklines, and smokers lines.
It reduces the appearance of stretch marks and scars and treats uneven skin pigmentation, freckles, and sun-damaged skin.
There is no scalpel, cutting or ablation of the skin with this procedure, or stitches and scarring, meaning a very short downtime and no thinning of the skin.
Treatment guide
How many treatments will I need?
Many cases only require one treatment with results lasting upwards of three to five years.
Some clients may require more than one treatment if they suffer from deeper lines that require more collagen to be made. We require a 16-week stand-down before treating the same area.
The treatment may take up to 3 hours, depending on the size and type of area we treat.
How long before I see any results?
The results are instant, though it can take up to 12 weeks for collagen to mature.

Considerations
Who shouldn’t have this treatment?
People with darker skin tones are not good candidates for the plasma pen.
Is the treatment painless?
We apply a topical anaesthetic prior to your treatment to numb the skin surface and reduce any discomfort.
Is there any downtime after the treatment?
You will have dark brown, carbon spots in the treated area, which will heal and peel away within five to seven days after treatment. Some swelling may also be present, particularly in the eye area. No makeup is to be applied to the area until five to seven days after treatment.
