BodyTite, FaceTite, and AccuTiteThese radiofrequency (RF) devices are designed for use on various areas of the body, face, and neck. They may be considered for concerns involving areas such as the jowls, under the chin (sub-mental area), neck, bra fold region near the armpits, arms, abdomen, chest, back, hips, thighs, knees, and ankles.
About the technology
AccuTite (AT), FaceTite (FT), and BodyTite (BT) are directional radiofrequency (RF) devices that, together with Morpheus8 radiofrequency needling, operate on the BodyTite RF and Embrace RF platforms developed by InMode.
The main difference between AT, FT, and BT is the size of the handpiece. The AT is the smallest, with a fine cannula similar in size to those used for injectable procedures, and is most often used for the face and small, refined areas. The BT is the largest and is generally selected for larger body areas, such as the abdomen or hips.
These devices are considered minimally invasive compared to traditional surgery. They are usually performed under local anaesthetic using slim cannulas that deliver RF energy under the skin. This energy can be applied to different levels of tissue, including fat layers and dermal layers, with the intention of stimulating collagen production and supporting skin and tissue tightening effects.
Because the RF energy is delivered directly within targeted tissues, these treatments differ from external RF devices, which may be more limited in their reach. Potential effects include tissue contraction and contouring; however, results vary between individuals.

AT, FT and BT are most commonly used to treat the face, neck and body, including the jowls, under the chin, neck, around the armpit area (‘bra folds”), stomach, chest (male and female), back folds, hip and thigh, knees, ankles, arms. In fact, these devices can be utilised with results in just about any area of the body.

What to Expect
Radiofrequency (RF) treatments such as BodyTite, FaceTite, and AccuTite are designed to deliver energy to deeper tissues and the skin. Some patients may notice changes soon after treatment, while further changes may develop gradually over the following weeks to months. Research suggests that tissue remodelling can continue for up to 12 months or more.
The extent and duration of results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. Some overseas studies suggest that effects may last longer in certain cases, but outcomes depend on many factors, including your overall health, skin characteristics, and treatment goals.
Most people begin to notice visible changes within several months, with many reporting improvements around three months. Ongoing consultation and review are important to monitor your progress.

Considerations
Many areas can be treated, and most people are suitable for treatment. However, there are some contraindications to treatment with RF. A consultation is essential to exclude contraindications to RF such as if you have a pacemaker or other implants and medical conditions. In such cases, we will discuss alternative treatment options with you.
The procedure is less invasive than surgery, there is no cutting or stitching involved. It involves inserting a fine radiofrequency cannula under the skin to reach the target tissues. Because of this we routinely perform the procedure under anaesthesia with or without sedation for additional comfort.
There is usually very little bruising afterward but swelling may be significant for a number of days, particularly if sensitive areas of the face such as the eyelids and lips are treated, so timing of the procedure for treating these areas may need to be considered.
